Mind, body and soul in balance...

Is there such a thing? Can you experience balance when it comes to these elements? Absolutely! With daily practice, you can find balance within the Mind, Body, and Soul.
Many times I hear, "if I could just find balance all will would be great." Well, you can... but you need to understand that life itself is one big balancing act. When people come to terms with that thought process, "balance" is more achievable; progress NOT perfection. Self-awareness and practice is key to finding that famous "balance" so many search for.
Here are my top favorite ways to feel my mind, body and soul balance.
~ EXERCISE
Why exercise? It is one of the most important parts of a daily health regiment. It helps reduce stress, enhances mood, protects heart health, and allows the body to stay in motion so it can feel and look its best.
~ NUTRITION
Up there high on the list... is nutrition. Along side exercise, what happens to your body and mindset is 80% what we eat to use as fuel. When our nutrition is out of balance, it can cause many health issues that affect all elements of our wellness. When examining your nutrition, find ways to go organic and eat a whole food, unprocessed diet. Not sure how to obtain this? Let's connect!
~ DRINK PURE WATER
Add a filtering system to your faucet or use filtered refrigerator water to ensure you are getting water that is coming from a clean source. Drink plenty of ounces per day. The rule of thumb is half your body weight in ounces of water. For example, if you weigh 150 lbs, your water intake per day should be approximately 75 ozs.
~GROUND YOURSELF
Using all your senses, allow each one to savor in the moments. If its with food, slow down when eating and enjoy each bite allowing your senses to taste what you eating. Smell... go for a walk and literally smell the roses. You get the point, right?
~MEDITATE
No matter your age, race, gender, or religious beliefs... meditating is good for the soul. It allows you to really BREATHE. It improves mood & memory, reduces stress, clears mental clutter, and opens the mind spiritually.
~PRACTICE GRATITUDE
Every day find something you're grateful for. The smallest of things... right in front of you. Try not to take this one precious life for granted. All of it is a gift. Take a moment to write one small thing a day in a gratitude journal. Eventually, you will crowd out the negative and only have room for the positive.
~SAY POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS
Invest in affirmation cards... pull one daily. Say it in the morning and remind yourself throughout the day what that days affirmation was.
~DETOX YOUR BEAUTY ROUTINE
Ladies, this is important... your skin will love you if you pay attention to the chemicals you put on it daily. Men... you too need skin care and sunscreen! Looking for an all natural, vegan free, cruelty free, gluten free and dairy free skin care line? Check this one out... the results are amazing and no harsh chemicals or additives. It is personally my favorite line to use.
It sounds like a lot right? It really isn't. You just have to want it, be mindful of it, and practice it.
